Applications for the 2023 PSNAP residentials were open for approximately 6 weeks (opened on 16 May 2023 and closed on 23 June 2023).
A total of six residential applications were received during this period and are currently under review by members of the Plant Surveillance Network Working Group (PSNWG).
This year’s residentials propose to address surveillance capabilities in detecting various invertebrate and fungal pathogens in a range of plant industries.
Through visiting another workplace or participating in a relevant activity, interstate or internationally, the surveillance residential program aims to support plant health surveillance professionals in improving their capabilities to detect:
Funding for Surveillance Residentials is provided by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) and is open to all PSNAP members.
The PSNAP program is currently being transitioned to the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF).
