MyPestGuide Crops is a field guide and pest identification app that lets grain growers, farmers, agronomists and industry reps easily and quickly identify pests of cereals, pulses, oilseeds and coarse grain crops, as well as stored grain and biosecurity pests in Australia.
The MyPestGuide Crops field guide and pest identification app includes images and control information to help manage pests but also works alongside the MyPestGuide Reporter app when further identification or advice is needed. Your reports are received by experts at the Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia (DAFWA) who identify the pest, reply back to your device and map it online so everyone can learn about pest problems.
By using the MyPestGuide Crops field guide and Reporter App you are supporting your local agricultural community, defending Australia’s grains industry and protecting the natural environment from exotic pests of grain.
