Certain fields in Data Protocols will have approved controlled vocabulary lists.
There may be instances where a new surveillance method, such as a trap and/or lure type, becomes available which is not reflected in the controlled vocabulary list.
Requests to make changes to the controlled vocabulary list and data protocol fields can be submitted to the National Surveillance Protocol Working Group (NSPWG) for updates to be considered.
